Description

Bailey's ideal home

Bailey is a 2 year old Beagle looking for a loving home with children aged 14 and above. She thrives in a calm, patient household with minimal visitors, where her confidence can grow at her own pace. Bailey’s ideal home would be with a couple or a small family who have the time and commitment to support her as she settles in and builds trust.
She would love quiet walking routes, away from busy or built up areas, where she can take her time exploring on a long line. Bailey has the potential to live with a calm dog after successful introductions, as she enjoys the company of gentle canine friends. A secure garden would be an added bonus, giving her a safe space to relax and play.

Could you be Bailey's perfect match?

Bailey is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves being close to her people. She thrives on love and patience, gaining confidence from her owners. She adores her exploratory walks, where she can indulge her Beagle instincts by sniffing around to her heart’s content.
Playtime is another of Bailey’s joys she loves her toys and is happy to trade them for a bit of fun. Chew toys are her favourite and she loves gravy bones as a treat. With slow and thoughtful introductions, she can enjoy the company of other dogs, though she may greet them with an enthusiastic bark at first. Bailey has previously lived alongside rabbits and budgies, so she has experience coexisting with small animals although she has not lived with cats.
Bailey is housetrained, knows her basic commands, and is happy to hop into the car, though she may whine a little during the journey. Time alone should be built up gradually, as she is not yet used to being by herself or without the company of another dog.
If you are looking for a loyal companion who will bring you love and joy while enjoying a quiet, structured lifestyle, Bailey could be the perfect fit for your family.

Beagle Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Beagle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
