Description

Bella's ideal home

We are looking for a quiet home for Bella with adopters who are happy for Bella to lounge around on their sofas! She would like to be the only dog in the home, as she can be protective over her resources around other dogs, but is good with dogs out and about so could have some calm dog walking friends. Bella would love a home with adopters around for the majority of the time, she makes the best work from home pal and spends a lot of her in time in office spaces around the Newbury Centre. She could live with children aged 10+, pending successful mixes in the centre. She cannot live with cats or small furries. Bella has really stolen the hearts of all of the staff here at Newbury and we can't wait to find her the home she deserves, with adopters who will treat her like a queen! Bella has been undergoing some medical investigations which are now complete but can be discussed with any potential adopters.

Could you be Bella's perfect match?

Bella is a 4.5-year-old Beagle x Pointer who came into our care pregnant with a litter of puppies. Now that all of her puppies have flown the nest, we are looking for a home for Bella where she can relax and enjoy all of the fuss she adores! She is a very gentle girl who enjoys having a good sniff before curling up on the sofa with company.

Beagle Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Beagle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
